The Australian Work and Holiday Visa has expanded, now up to 200 residents of Poland can Work and Holiday in Australia under the new laws which were signed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Julie Bishop during a ceremony in Warsaw. Both governments are working together closely to bring the working holiday visa into effect as soon as possible.
This also means up to 200 Australians a year can work and holiday in Poland given the reciprocal nature of the 462 work and holiday visa agreement. The work and holiday visa 462 is different from the working holiday visa 417 visa as it requires applicants to hold or be studying towards tertiary qualifications, to speak “functional” English and have the support of their government. 417 Visa holders can also apply for the second year visa in they get a ” fruit picking jobs” or complete a specified job for 88 days in a regional area.
