With the second most amount of Greeks in any one city being in Australia, ( Melbourne) it was only a matter of time before a work and holiday agreement was signed between the two countries.
On May 14th, 2014 this reciprocal 462 Work and Holiday Visa subclass agreement was signed.There will be 500 places each year and will allow successful candidates from each country to work or conduct short term study in one another’s country. Work could include farm jobs or anything as simple as a bar in cairns or au par in Melbourne. As with all other agreements the ages of visa holders will be between 18-30 .
The commencement date has not been finalized, but as soon as it is we will be sure to let everyone know onsite.
