About the Role...  
We are looking to add to our team of casual Disability Support Staff, who are some of the most professional dedicated and hardworking individuals in the industry.  
As a valued member of the Arch team you will be responsible for providing support to people who are living with a Disability in Perth - within In Home, Respite, Residential and Community settings and supporting Individuals with all daily life skills and activities.  
We are seeking candidates who have a true passion in providing individually tailored person-centred care that empowers individuals to reach their goals and break through barriers while building on their inner confidence. 

You would be supporting individuals with high care needs that can demonstrate behaviours which may prove challenging in a two-to-one and one-to-one residential environment. 
You would support in developing independent living by encouraging individuals accessing and integrating into their local Community, assisting with everyday tasks for daily living, social training in daily life and living skills, prompting and supporting with Personal Care  

Some scheduled activities which may include; Community and social outings, Domestic duties, Shopping, Meal preparation, Medication prompts and administration. This will also include some recreational activities that align with the individuals personalised goals, aspirations and interests. These are wide and varied but could include, swimming, exercising, attending the gym, going for walks, music, art, watching movies and sport, pets or anything else that the clients would like and will enable the individuals we support to live a happy and as fulfilled life as possible.

We require all applicants to hold the following;  

  • A valid Driving License 
  • A current National Police Clearance 
  • A current Manual Handling Certificate (obtained within the past 12 months)  
  • A current First Aid Certificate  
  • A current Medication Administration Certificate  
  • Working with Children check or willingness to obtain one
