Arch Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced Out-Of-Home-Care carers to join our casual staffing pool. Here at Arch, we supply carers to several out of home care service providers across Western Australia.
About the Role...
Our clients provide flexible and high-quality services under a therapeutic model of care in highly structured residential settings for children and young people. We are seeking individuals who are compassionate, with excellent communication skills and a strong client focus and who possess a variety of interests that could be utilised to support and engage the young people you support.
We have a wide variety of shifts available across mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers and weekends. We also have 24-hour shifts available.
We are looking for individuals that not only have experience in supporting people living with a disability but also for people who strongly align with our core values:
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 12 months previous experience in an out of home care setting delivering direct care and support and guiding and mentoring young people.
- A valid Driving Licence
- A current National Police Clearance (dated within the last 12 months)
- A current Manual Handling Certificate
- A current First Aid Certificate
- A current Medication Administration Certificate
- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to obtain a DCP 395 check
- Training in TCI, CPI or PART would be highly desirable.
