The 2014 Adventure Travel Awards were held on Friday the 7th of November at the Rydges Sydney, with 34 awards on offer their were 250 guests in attendance and Australia’s favourite cricketer Kerry O’Keefe to MC the night. Noosa is located at the northern part of the Sunshine coast and has been voted the Best Backpacker City/Region in Australia at the 2013 TNT Golden Backpack Awards. Noosa beat Byron Bay, Cairns and Sydney who were amongst the finalist to take the prize.
