    I had the same problem, but I started a simple spreadsheet to track all my accounts—old jobs, savings, and even refunds I’m waiting on. I also set yearly calendar reminders to review everything.     I agree — checking unclaimed property sites yearly is smart. I’ve found surprise money that way too. Organization really pays off!
