Industrial Spray Painter – Workshop Based | Bathurst

Harrison Barratt Group is a leading recruitment and staffing agency specialising in construction and industrial trades across NSW and nationwide. We’re currently seeking motivated and reliable Industrial Spray Painters to join our client, a well-established engineering company, based in a workshop environment within the Bathurst Area.

This role suits painters who enjoy consistent, workshop-based work rather than site-to-site travel. Formal qualifications are not essential, however experience as a professional painter is highly advantageous.

Your Day-to-Day May Include:

  • Preparing steel components and fabricated items for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking, priming)
  • Operating spray-painting equipment (airless, HVLP, or conventional)
  • Applying industrial coatings, primers, and finishes to engineered steel and components
  • Mixing paints and coatings to specifications
  • Adhering to all WHS and workshop safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in industrial, commercial, or professional painting
  • Confident use of spray-painting equipment
  • White Card (General Construction Induction)
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Understanding of WHS and safe workshop practices
  • Reliable transport and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Highly Preferred:

  • Experience working in an engineering or fabrication workshop
  • Background as a professional painter (industrial or commercial)
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Tickets such as EWP or Working at Heights

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rates + penalties and allowances paid weekly
  • Stable, workshop-based work with a reputable engineering company
  • Opportunities for long-term placement and skill development
  • Supportive team environment and great company culture

If you’re ready to join a professional workshop team and put your painting skills to work, hit the Apply Now button and send us your application today.
