Our Wagin hay processing plant currently has multiple vacancies for hay plant operators for our hay processing facility in Wagin, located 6km east of Wagin in regional WA.
Plant operators are hands on and responsible for running and maintaining the hay processing plant in order to produce a product that meets Gilmac’s quality, safety, cost and production targets.
Full training is provided, but favourable consideration will be given to:
- Experience in a related field, eg agriculture, fixed or mobile plant operation
- Telehandler or forklift operation
- Skills in fault finding/problem solving of processing plants
Applicants must be:
- Committed to safety, quality and preventative maintenance
- Able to work both day and night rotating 12-hour shifts for up to 5 consecutive days
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical eg: drug screen & ability to work in a physical hay environment
Starting Rate: $31 p/hr - Rent free accommodation in company owned housing is available for backpackers looking for temporary employment.
