Seeding Operators QLD - Cotton,wheat, barley & canola

Our client is a large-scale, family-run mixed farming operation with properties across northern New South Wales and southern Queensland. They require experienced Machinery Operators primarily based at Hebel, QLD, with the opportunity to also work across some properties on the NSW side of the border.
Experienced tractor and farm machinery operators are required for a range of duties including, but not limited to:

• Air seeder operation
• Kelly chaining, chisel ploughing and deep ripping
• Self-propelled boom spraying
• General farm work, including machinery and property maintenance and earthworks

These roles are typically 3 to 6 months in duration, with work commencing immediately.
Requirements:

• Broadacre or row-cropping experience, or a background in similar large-scale farming operations
• Sound understanding of machinery operation and GPS-guided systems
• Strong adherence to OH&S policies and procedures

Desirable:

• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with general machinery servicing
• Chemical accreditation and spraying experience
