Second Sydney Airport Confirmed

After years and years of speculation and indecisiveness the Australian government has confirmed that their will be a second Airport to be built in Sydney. Construction will commence in 2016 at the Badgery Creek site, 56km west of the Sydney CBD. Billions of dollars and some 60,000 jobs are expected to recreated from the airport development by 2050, which has the in-principle support of Labor. ( opposition government) While this may not necessarily mean cheaper international flights, we’re certain it will bring down cost for domestic flights, similar to what avalon did in Melbourne.

Cyclone Ita: What You Need to Know

It is expected that the winds will reach speeds of up to 300 km/h and will land around the Cooktown region of Northern Queensland. The Australian Work and Holiday Visa has expanded, now up to 200 residents of Poland can Work and Holiday in Australia under the new laws which were signed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Julie Bishop during a ceremony in Warsaw.
