With the never ending search to find the best place to live and work in Australia / the world a ground breaking new result has determined Hobart as the worlds most liveable city. The runners up and top 10 will be announced later this afternoon but for now here’s why Hobart won.



The hobart lifestyle is relaxed and honest, which promotes a simplistic but beautiful way of life. With the garden fresh air, abundance of jobs on offer there’s something for everyone in Hobart.


The AFL makes regular trips to Hobart, with 3 games scheduled for 2015 amongst other local sporting rivalries across the island which are not to be missed.

You couldn’t count the number of wineries in Tasmania and there’s many within close distance to Hobart. Try the local fruits and enjoy the fantastic wine this region produces.



From day trips to Bruny island to the beauty of the royal botanic gardens or a visit to the stunning near 360 degree views at Mount Wellington there’s something for everyone. It doesn’t stop there with wineglass bay and Freycinet National Park other beautiful spots for locals and tourists.


From the Mona Museum to the restaurants and scenery that surround it Tasmania and Hobart has created a lifestyle envied upon those around the world.

It comes as no surprise that Hobart has won the worlds most liveable city in 2015.
